Youth Life Skills for Grade School Students in Flint
Welcome to Solstice Sports Academy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth with transformative life skills workshops and fostering community well-being through sports and health initiatives. Founded by passionate adult summer and winter sports enthusiasts, we are committed to enriching child development and social skills within our community.
We believe in the power of four key concepts: social etiquette, conflict resolution, youth financial literacy, and additive manufacturing (3D printing). These pillars form the foundation of our community efforts, guiding us in cultivating essential skills and values in children.
Through our youth life skills workshops, we provide grade school students with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate life successfully. Our workshops cover a wide range of topics, including social etiquette, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and the fascinating world of additive manufacturing. By focusing on these areas, we empower children to become productive, responsible, and well-rounded individuals with the strategic thinking and well-mannered demeanor necessary for personal and professional success.
